People often argue about the best emulator for each console, but for PSP games, PPSSPP is always the clear winner. Custom controls, sharper visuals, filters, advanced settings, stability, speed, and accuracy — it leads in every category. This is the definitive PSP emulator on mobile, plain and simple.

The emulator is decent overall, but stability is a real problem for me. I mostly play Tekken 5 DR and Tekken 6, and both stutter badly on certain stages. Even with the lowest settings on a capable phone, frame drops make some maps nearly unplayable. I have tried many configuration tweaks without any real improvement.

A standout example of well-crafted software. This is not just one of the better emulators out there — it ranks among the best apps on any platform. You do not need a high-end device to enjoy it smoothly. The Retro Achievements support is a nice extra touch as well.

Among the finest emulators you can install on Android. The settings menu goes deep, and I rarely hit bugs or freezes — only on older hardware I'd already outgrown. That something this polished stays free is genuinely impressive.

Something changed after the latest update — games that ran smoothly on my phone now lag badly. I get that heavy titles struggle, but lighter ones like N.O.V.A. shouldn't stutter either. I've tried every performance setting with no luck. Hoping the team can look into this.

Top-tier standalone emulator that runs smoothly on most devices. Retro Achievements integration works great, and the save system even warns you before closing a game without saving. Easily the best way to play PSP titles on mobile.
